Payments: All payments should be done within 5 work days after the Registration is submitted. After this period, the registration is canceled and delegates should submit it again if they decide to attend the Conference. National payments can only be done through bank deposits, while International payments can only be done through PayPal. For Brazilians, there is the option of paying in two installments: for that, the first installment must be paid until 10 July 2019. This Conference does not work with refunds, under no circumstances.


Faculty Advisors: High School students should be accompanied by a faculty advisor throughout the days of the Conference. The faculty advisor should be a responsible adult within the following options: teacher, parent, adult legally responsible for the student. For larger delegations, we suggest schools to send one faculty advisor for every 10 students.


Authorizations: In order to attend FAMUN 2019, each participant must sign this liability waiver prior to arriving at the conference. In the case that a minor under the age of 18 is attending, the parent or guardian of the minor must read and sign the liability waiver along with the participant.


Visa: Upon request, successful registrants will be issued a Letter of Invitation from FACAMP stating the status of their participation at FAMUN 2019 after background check. Registrants may use the Letter of Invitation in their visa acquisition process.FACAMP will not provide Visa Letters and is not responsible for any participant’s visa into the Brazil. All fees are non-refundable, and it is the participant’s responsibility to secure the necessary documentation to enter Brazil.


Official Transportation: FAMUN provides official transportation from FACAMP to the opening and closing ceremonies venue; and from the official hotel to FACAMP campus (and vice-versa). Delegates who miss the official transportation are responsible for their own transportation arrangements.


Dress Code:Delegates are requested to observe formal attire during all the conference. National or traditional attire is allowed as long as it respects the formality of the event. Delegates must avoid disrespectful or inappropriate dressing.


Official badges: The use of official badges is required during all the Conference, including cultural activities.


Certificates of Participation:Certificates of participations will be granted to all participants who attend at least 75% of sessions. Certificates will be available to the head delegate, at its login area, at the end of the last day of FAMUN.


Valuables: FAMUN is not responsible for valuables or personal belongings left in conference venue, social and cultural events venues or buses. If you have lost a personal belonging, please check the Lost and Found box at the Registration Auditorium.


Alcohol, Drug and Smoking Policy: Delegates consuming or in possess of alcohol and/or illicit drugs will be immediately suspended from FAMUN.

According to Brazilian law, it is prohibited to smoke in all enclosed public spaces. Delegates are not permitted to smoke inside committee rooms or enclosed spaces in the conference venue and social and cultural events venues.


Plagiarism:  Participants agrees that all materials produced for this conference will be original work. Plagiarism will not be tolerated at FAMUN 2019, and should the Secretariat discover instances of plagiarism, the individual will be disqualified from the conference without refund.


Suspension Policy: The Organization Commission of FAMUN is responsible for guaranteeing a diplomatic and respectful environment during all the days of the Conference, from sessions to social and cultural events. FAMUN reserves the right to immediately suspend delegates for improper behavior. There will also be penalties for the entire delegation, such as the ineligibility for Best Delegation Award and limitations of country assignment in future conferences of FAMUN.


Exceptions: The Organizational Commission of FAMUN is the only staff member empowered to grant exceptions to general policies.  Requests for exceptions must be submitted in written form to
