Registration System

Before starting the registration in FAMUN 2023, delegations need to do the pre-registration. The pre-registration consists of creating a login and password so that you can access the FAMUN 2023 Registration System and then start the registration of your delegation.

Here you will find all the rules and obligations to take part in FAMUN 2023.

Eligibility and number of delegates

High School and University level conferences will operate separately except for Training sessions, Interactive dialogues, and Opening and Closing ceremonies. The eligibility criteria for each path is:

High School: individual/group of students enrolled in High School; or students below 18 years old who have completed High School and/or are enrolled in a preparatory program (“cursinho”). High school groups need to be accompanied by at least one faculty advisor. Each school can register only one delegation with up to 10 delegates.

University: individual/group of students enrolled in a University program; students over 18 years old who have completed High School and/or are enrolled in a preparatory program (“cursinho”). Each University delegation can have up to 10 delegates, but there are no limits to the number of delegations.

Registration period

Registration starts in May 2023 and will remain open until 07 August 2023 if vacancies are available. Registrations will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Attention: FAMUN 2023 offers limited vacancies. Once they have been all filled up, the Organization will open a waiting list. Delegates in this list will only be invited to register after dropouts.

Pre-registration

Before starting the registration in FAMUN 2023, delegations need to do the pre-registration. The pre-registration consists of creating a login and password so that you can access the FAMUN 2023 Registration System and then start the registration of your delegation.

Who should do the pre-registration?

For High School, the pre-registration must be done either by the student who will be the Head Delegate of the delegation or by the Faculty Advisor who will accompany the delegation at FAMUN 2023.

For University, the pre-registration must be done by the student who will be the Head Delegate.

Where do I access the login and password?

The person who pre-registered will receive the login and password in his/her personal email to access the FAMUN 2023 Registration System and start the registration of their delegation.

Fill in the Registration Form

After doing the pre-registration, use the login and password the Head Delegate and/or Faculty Advisor received in his/her personal email to access the FAMUN 2023 Registration System.

After logging in, proceed to the menu “Registration Form” and fill in Part 1 (Delegation and Delegates’ information) and Part 2 (Faculty Advisors’ information).

In this part, delegates can include their Committees/Council preferences.

Payments

After filling in Parts 1 and 2 of the Registration Form, the delegation has 5-week days to execute the fee payment. Each delegate and Faculty Advisor has to pay a fee to participate.

Payment method:

If the payment is not executed or the payment receipt is not attached within 5 days after registration, your delegation’s registration will be canceled.

Confirmation

Check the “News” menu in the Registration System. We will confirm your payment and your registration by sending you a message in the “News” menu in the Registration System. Do not forget to check it for updates.

Check your Committees and Councils

Check Part 1 in the “Registration Form” menu to see your assigned Committee/Council and representation. The first round of representation assignments will start in late June.

Representations will be allocated by the FAMUN Organization Commission according to the date of registration and the assigned preferences of delegations in the Registration Form. Also, a distributive principle among institutions will be followed.

Assignments are final and cannot be changed under any circumstances.

Prices and Payment

Each delegate and Faculty Advisor has to pay a fee to participate. The fees are the following:

PERÍODO DE PAGAMENTO

Participantes nacionais terão até 5 dias úteis para realizar o pagamento e anexar os recibos no sistema de inscrições.

Atenção: O pagamento deve ser feito por cada participante individualmente. Se o pagamento não for feito em até 5 dias úteis depois do preenchimento do formulário de inscrição, a inscrição do(a) participante será cancelada. Será necessário preencher o formulário novamente.

 

MÉTODOS DE PAGAMENTO

Cada participante deverá pagar individualmente sua taxa de inscrição. Atenção aos métodos de pagamento:

Boleto ou cartão de crédito

  • Para pagamentos em boleto ou cartão de crédito, o pagamento será feito pela plataforma Stripe.
  • O pagamento e o recibo serão vinculados ao email que o delegado registrou na parte 1 do formulário de inscrição. Não é possível alterar o email de pagamento.
  • Basta adicionar a taxa correspondente no carrinho e realizar o pagamento seguindo as instruções da plataforma Stripe.
  • O Stripe enviará para o email de cada participante um recibo confirmando o pagamento. O recibo deve demorar de 5-10 minutos para ser enviado. Atenção: o Stripe poderá cobrar taxas de transação adicionais.

PIX

  • O pagamento via PIX deve ser feito pela chave: famun@facamp.com.br
  • Após realizar o PIX, é obrigatório anexar o recibo de pagamento no Sistema de Inscrições. Nomeie o recibo com o nome do participante.

 

CONFIRMAÇÃO DE PAGAMENTO – ANEXAR O RECIBO

Pagamentos por boleto ou cartão de crédito: o Stripe enviará um recibo de pagamento para o email de cada participante. Mas pedimos gentilmente que cada participante anexe o comprovante de pagamento no sistema de inscrições do FAMUN.
Pagamentos por PIX: é obrigatório anexar o recibo de pagamento no Sistema de Inscrições. Nomeie o recibo com o nome do participante.

Atenção:

  • O pagamento de todas as taxas e o envio dos recibos são condições obrigatórias para validar a inscrição da delegação.
  • Cada participante deve anexar seu próprio recibo. Certifique-se de salvar os arquivos com o nome correspondente de cada participante.
  • O(A) Chefe de Delegação irá receber da equipe do FAMUN um email confirmando o pagamento das inscrições. Depois dessa confirmação, a delegação receberá as representações para a simulação.

Política de não reembolso: As taxas de inscrição não serão reembolsadas em nenhuma circunstância.

PAYMENT PERIOD

International participants have up to 5 workdays to execute the payment and attach the receipt.

Note: Each participant must pay the registration fee individually. If the payment is not made within five workdays after filling out the registration form, the participant’s registration will be canceled. It will be necessary to fill up a new form.
 

PAYMENT METHOD: CREDIT CARD
  • Each participant must pay the registration fee individually through Stripe.
  • The payment link and receipt are linked to the email registered in Part 1 of the Registration Form. You cannot change this email.
  • Add your correct fee(s) to the cart and proceed to payment, following Stripe Instructions.
  • Stripe may charge you transaction fees.
  • Stripe will automatically send you and us a receipt after 5-10 minutes. But we kindly ask that participants attach the payment receipt to the Main Page of this Registration System.

 

PAYMENT CONFIRMATION – RECEIPT
  • The proper payment of all fees and the proper attachment of all receipts are obligatory conditions to validate the registration.
  • Each delegate and faculty advisor must attach his/her own receipt. Make sure to save the receipts with the correspondent delegate’s or faculty’s name.
  • The Head Delegate will receive from FAMUN an email confirming the payment, and after that, the delegation will have the representations assigned. So do not forget to check your mailbox!

LIABILITY WAIVER

To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants at FAMUN 2023, each participant must sign and submit the liability waiver before joining the online conference.

The liability waiver is mandatory – without it, participants cannot attend the conference.

The liability waiver must be signed and attached to the registration system until 25 August 2023.

Attention, High School students!

For High School Delegates, the parent or guardian of the minor must read and sign the liability waiver along with the participant. High School delegates will not be allowed to attend the conference without a liability waiver properly signed by the parent or guardian.

Attention! The signature of the parent or legal guardian will only be considered valid with official recognition from the national authorities in the student’s country of origin. For Brazilians, the parent or guardian’s signature must be “reconhecida em cartório”.
