Our conference theme is

a call to action …

In 1945, in San Francisco, 51 nations officially founded an international organization with the goal to “save succeeding generations from the scourge of war”. The United Nations, as the institution was known, would offer States a forum for cooperation in different areas, such as international security, development and human rights.

In 2020, the UN turns 75 and it has launched a campaign to reinforce the importance of multilateralism as a means of tackling common problems. The aim is to start the “biggest-ever conversation” to hear from every person, every organization and every State what are their ideas to the future we want.

FAMUN 2020 invites you to join the conversation with the theme Be the change: shaping our future together. We want to hear from our delegates what are their ideas to change and improve the world we live in, and what are their commitments to the implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Global cooperation continues to be a collective commitment and youth is an essential part of it.

Do you accept our invitation to be the change, so we can shape our future together?
